Chiropractic care is a complementary medicine profession that focuses on mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system and how these disorders impact overall health. Some examples of these disorders include back pain, neck pain, pain in the joints of the arms or legs, and headaches. The most common treatment procedures are known as manual manipulation - sometimes called "adjustments." The purpose of manipulation is to restore joint mobility to its proper function.
