Physical therapy assistants may also record the patient’s progress in any written documents required. Physical therapy aides help to keep the treatment area clean and well stocked with supplies. They may help transport the patient to and from the treatment area, and may help with front office duties such as answering the phones and other clerical requirements. Physical therapy aides are not allowed to perform the clinical duties of a physical therapy assistant as they are not licensed to do so. |
